Are CBD Oils Legal in North Carolina?
The 2018 Farm Bill has finally passed. It provides a five year extension for agricultural and nutritional policies around hemp. So does this mean CBD is legal in your state?
First, hemp cannot contain more than 0.3 percent THC, per section 10113 of the Farm Bill. If the cannabis plant contains more than 0.3 percent THC then it would be considered marijuana (non-hemp cannabis). So as long as CBD contains less than 0.3% THC it is legal in your state.
All of the CBD we sell contains less than 0.3% of THC from 3rd party lab tests. CBD Discount Shop also has products containing zero THC. The bill puts no restrictions on the sale, possession, or transportation of hemp-derived products. You should always understand where your CBD comes from before you purchase it.
