What is CBD?
Cannabidiol or CBD is one of over 100 cannabinoids (chemical compounds) present in the cannabis plant. Next to Tetrahydrocannabinol or THC, CBD is the most abundant cannabinoid. However, there are some major differences between the two. CBD, unlike THC, is non-psychoactive. Therefore, regardless of how much you consume, you will never feel high. What’s perhaps even more astonishing about CBD is that a growing body of research indicates it offers numerous holistic benefits.
How do you take CBD?
Using CBD lotion is effective way you can try for fast relief. You can apply it inform of lotion, cream, salves, balm, or massage oil. This is useful for the people who have inflammation on the outer layer of the skin or people who struggle with arthritis and other joint/bone pains. Relief is usually instant or can take just a few minutes.
CBD Sublingually (by mouth):
This is one of the most effective ways to properly get a serving. It also allows one to work CBD in their daily lives because it is simple to ingest. It will go through your digestive system and increase metabolism in the liver. This generally takes anywhere from 10-45 minutes to give relief. Ingestion of CBD is available in forms tincture, capsules, and edible.
Does CBD make you feel high?
No, CBD doesn't make you feel high because it is directly extracted from the plant that contains a high number of cannabinoids which don’t get you high. CBD oil is completely non-psychoactive, so it will not adversely affect perception, behavior, consciousness, or sensory awareness. All of the CBD oil we carry has below the threshold (legal limit) of 0.3% THC, therefore, getting "high" isn't possible.
Will I pass a drug test?
This all depends on the type of CBD you are using and the amount of CBD. There are two types of raw CBD oil: Full Spectrum and Isolate (THC Free). Full Spectrum contains trace amounts of THC (under 0.3% THC) because it is extracted using the full cannabis plant so it contains all of the cannabinoids. Isolate is an isolated form of CBD so that it doesn't contain any cannabinoids except CBD. This means that if you are a regular user of CBD and taking a full spectrum you could potentially have a false positive. Many drug tests don't test for the full spectrum of cannabinoids (only check for THC) but it would be safe to stick with an isolate CBD.
Is CBD safe for pets?
CBD products may work well on pets by inducing calming effects. CBD is a natural compound produced from cannabis which can help pets recover from physical, mental, and emotional issues with high success rates. Moreover, they are ideal for older pets that are suffering from mobility and other problems. Dogs and cats can benefit a lot from CBD which may ultimately help to increase their lifespan.
